Ailbhe O'Reilly
Counsellor and Psychotherapist
Hi there, I'm Ailbhe. I'm a qualified pre-accredited psychotherapist with the IACP, and I hold a qualification in psychology and wellbeing. I'm here to support you in whatever you're going through, and to offer a safe, supportive space where you can take time for yourself and work towards your personal goals. Whether you're struggling, feeling stuck, or just want to explore things in a deeper way, you're very welcome here.
My Approach
I am a pre-accredited psychotherapist with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). I have completed a BSc in Applied Psychology at the Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design, and Technology (IADT), an MSc in Psychology and Wellbeing at Dublin City University (DCU), and a BSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at IICP College.
As a warm and compassionate therapist, I strive to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable sharing and exploring their challenges. I take the time to understand each person’s situation within the wider context of their life, considering their experiences, relationships, and environment to help them gain a deeper understanding of themselves and the difficulties they may be facing.
Using an integrative approach to psychotherapy, I work collaboratively with my clients, tailoring my approach to suit their individual needs and goals. Examples of areas I have helped clients work through include anxiety, low mood, relationship issues, self-esteem, and grief. I believe in empowering clients to overcome obstacles, discover their strengths, and work towards a more fulfilling and balanced life.
The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful work, and I place great value on creating a space where trust, respect, and therapeutic connection can grow so that you feel truly heard, supported, and understood every step of the way.
