In private practice I work with my clients on a number of issues including:
anxiety,
depression, eating disorders, bereavement, career changes, and health problems.
I also work with:
• Individuals who are having issues in the workplace,
• Couples (gay and straight) who are having relationship issues and,
• Adult children who are still trying to heal their relationship with
their parents.
A particular specialty of mine is working with breast cancer clients and
infertility
patients. For each person the prognosis is different, the challenges unique.
NON-PROFIT WORK:
Before going into private practice, I worked under contract with the Department
of
Mental Health (DMH) with foster/adoptive children and with at-risk elementary
school youth.
PREVIOUS CAREER EXPERIENCE:
Before obtaining a Master of Clinical Psychology degree at Antioch University,
I worked as a television anchor and reporter for NBC and ABC affiliates in
the
United States and for television stations in Canada. As such, I have experience
dealing with the unique issues facing clients in the industry, including
making the
transition to another career.
